Getting permits is about to get easier!
Starting on Monday, July 13, residents and contractors will be able to apply for permits online using our new Regional E-permit Application Portal, shared by the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, Town of Bridgewater, Town of Lunenburg, and Region of Queens.

Attention Town of Lunenburg Water Utility Customers:
The Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board has approved changes to the Town’s Water Utility Rate Schedule effective July 1, 2026.
An updated rate schedule can be viewed at https://www.townoflunenburg.ca/accounts-and-infrastructure-water-utility.html
The Flat Residential Rates will now be $184.85 per quarter, an increase of $14.46.

🏳️🌈Town of Lunenburg Pride Flag Raising & BBQ 🏳️🌈
Pride Week in Lunenburg County kicks-off this Sunday (July 5) and the Town of Lunenburg is pleased to once again raise the Pride flag in support of the week and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
📆We invite everyone to join us on Tuesday, July 7 @ 12:30pm at the UNESCO Monument (Prince & Townsend St) for the flag raising – followed by cake and a barbecue. 🍰🌭
