ROAD CLOSURES - FEBRUARY 26 - Lincoln & King Streets

Public Works will be removing snow on King Street from Montague Street to Cumberland Street, and Lincoln Street from Hopson Street to King Street from 6pm to 10pm this evening.

Temporary road closures will be in place around the work zones.

Those who usually park within the work zone during this time should find an alternative location to allow crews to complete their work.

People are reminded to use caution and follow signage if travelling through these areas.

DOUBLE WASTE COLLECTION - FEBRUARY 27

Tomorrow (February 27) will see both Friday’s regular curbside collection, as well as collection for Tuesday’s skipped collection (due to the storm).

Please note - the plan is to start with Friday’s collection, so those on Tuesday’s route may not see collection until much later in the day than normal.

CLOSURE NOTICE - FEBRUARY 24

Due to the weather, Lunenburg Town Hall, the War Memorial Arena and the Community Centre will be close today - Tuesday, February 24.

Where possible, staff will continue to provide service while working remotely.

CHANGE TO FEBRUARY 24 WASTE COLLECTION


Due to the weather, waste collection scheduled for today (Feb. 24) has been cancelled and will now take place on Friday (Feb. 27).

Curbside collection will occur as per regular service on Thursday (Feb. 26) & Friday (Feb. 27).
