Project Lunenburg CCP
The Comprehensive Community Plan (CCP) is the 40-year strategic plan for the Town of Lunenburg. The Town engaged its citizens over an 18-month process to define the community's goals and aspirations, and to chart a course that will have community efforts moving in the same direction, contributing to a shared vision for the future. Project Lunenburg was completed with the partnership of Upland Planning + Design and approved by Lunenburg Town Council in 2020.
For more details and information, including status reporting and Project Lunenburg community engagement documents, please visit the Comprehensive Community Plan page.
Municipal Planning Strategy
The Town's 2021 regulations present an exciting and ground-breaking approach to planning in Atlantic Canada, and were built on the foundation of Project Lunenburg and the Comprehensive Community Plan.
The Municipal Planning Strategy is the policy document of Council regarding the use of land in Lunenburg. The accompanying Land Use Bylaw and Subdivision Bylaw are the documents through which Council's policies are administered.
