What’s the Difference between Operating and Capital Budgets?
- Operating Budget: Covers the day-to-day costs of running the Town, such as salaries, maintenance, and services like snow clearing and waste collection.
- Capital Budget: Focuses on long-term investments in infrastructure and major projects, such as roads, buildings, equipment, and facility upgrades.
