In advance of the Pelham Street construction beginning October 27, the contractor is going to start making a presence on the site on Pelham Street today (Friday) and through the weekend.

This will include:

• A short term detour Friday morning for the contractor to unload equipment on Pelham (in the block between King & Prince).
  
  
• The detour conditions will come into effect on Sunday. Road users should follow signage and devices when travelling through this section of Town.

The detour route may change as work progresses, so road users are reminded to pay attention to the conditions, signage, devices and traffic control personnel providing direction. These and the other measures in place during the Project are there to provide protection to the public and the workers and allow the construction to be performed efficiently.
