Please note this meeting was initially scheduled for Jan. 26, but was moved due to winter weather.
Council is holding a second Special Council Meeting on Monday, February 2 at 6 p.m. to consider approval of the 2026/27 Draft Town General Capital Budget and the Draft Water Utility Capital Budget.
As part of this process, Council and the public will review the proposed budgets, ask questions, and provide feedback. Council may amend the proposed budgets or defer a decision to a later date if additional information is required or further discussion is needed.
What is a capital budget?
A capital budget focuses on larger, long-term investments such as infrastructure, buildings, equipment, and major asset replacements. This is different from the operating budget, which covers day-to-day costs like staffing and routine services.
