Due to the incoming storm, all Town facilities, trails and parks will be CLOSED on Saturday, Sept 24, 2022 until further notice.

This includes the Bluenose Drive public washroom and Lunenburg Community Centre and weight room access. Recreation user groups will be notified on Sunday, Sep 25th if the facility will open for Sunday afternoon rentals.

This also includes Lunenburg Academy. The Lunenburg Library will make a determination on Sunday in consultation with Town staff whether it is safe to open. Please check their website for updates.

Residents are strongly encouraged to stay indoors and off the roads during the storm.
