Please be advised that the Town of Lunenburg is embarking on the development of a new Vending By-law and the Town of Lunenburg’s Council will be holding a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers, Town Hall, 120 Townsend Street at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 to receive public comments.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider the adoption of a new Vending By-law to replace the existing Vending By-law No. 61. Council will also consider the rescinding of the Automatic Machine By-law No. 63.

The new proposed Vending By-law will expand the areas enabled to be used for vending operations. A proposed Vending Area Map is outlined below:

Full copies of the Vending By-law are available for [download here] or for viewing at the Town Hall, 119 Cumberland Street, Lunenburg, N.S. Copies of the proposed Vending By-law or a portion thereof may be obtained from the Town Hall for a fee sufficient to recover the cost of reproduction.

Interested parties are welcome to submit any written comments to Council for their consideration. Any submissions should be received a week before the meeting so that they may be included in the Council’s Agenda Package. However, verbal and written comments may be received by Council during the meeting.
