NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Confirming Number of Councillors
This virtual hearing will be Friday, May 12, 2023 at 10 a.m.
The Town has applied to confirm its number of councillors.
The Town of Lunenburg has made an application to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board under Section 369 of the Municipal Government Act to confirm the number of councillors to be elected. This means that the Town of Lunenburg currently has six councillors and one mayor, and the Town believes this is the appropriate number of councillors for the Town.
This matter will be considered in a virtual public hearing as follows:
Hearing starts: Friday, May 12, 2023, at 10 a.m.
Place: Offices of the Board, 1601 Lower Water Street, 3rd Floor, Halifax, NS & held virtually
You may speak at the hearing. You must notify the Board by Wednesday, May 10, 2023 to register.
