May 16, 2022 -- The Town of Lunenburg is pleased to announce that Tyson Joyce will be joining our team as Town Engineer as of May 30, 2022.

Tyson brings 22 years of experience with a particular emphasis in civil engineering, project management, and infrastructure maintenance. He is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia.

Tyson is originally from Perth, Australia. He comes to the Town from Dexter Construction, where he has managed civil construction projects in both the private and public sectors in Nova Scotia since 2007. He and his family have happily called Lunenburg home for the past 12 years, close to his wife Blisse’s extended Comstock family. Outside the office, he is an active member of the Bluenose Golf Club and enjoys a variety of sports.

“I am looking forward to joining the team at the Town,” Tyson said, “and getting the chance to work in the community my family lives in and with the history Lunenburg offers.”

Tyson will be a valuable addition to the Town, and we look forward to welcoming him aboard.
