PROJECT UPDATE - PELHAM ST ROAD RECONSTUCTION - CONSTRUCTION COMMENCING OCTOBER 20

The Contractor has advised they are commencing construction on Tuesday, October 20 and work is expected to last approximately four weeks. The scope includes sewer main and service upgrades and a complete rebuild of the road structure.

The work affects Pelham Street between the Hopson and Prince Streets and shall require a continuous road closure with a detour in place for traffic shown in the diagram below:

• RED shows the construction zone on Pelham
• ORANGE shows the local traffic only zone
• BLACK ARROWS identify the detour route around the construction zone for westbound traffic travelling along Pelham
• PINK ARROWS identify the detour route around the construction zone southbound traffic on Hopson (intending to travel westbound on Pelham)

All road users (including pedestrians) should use caution, follow direction from site personnel and look to avoid this section of Town if possible while the construction is underway.
